From its inception in 1977, Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally (STPR) quickly grew to be a staple on the U.S. rally calendar. SCCA awarded it the Best ProRally award 8 times between 1983 and 2003. The rally features tight, technical, and narrow roads challenging competitors’ accuracy and precision. If successfully navigated, competitors and fans are rewarded with the championship’s biggest jump: 125ft on the Waste Management spectator stage. STPR also features an oddity for rally in the U.S.- a special stages where competitors race a side by side in front of the fans. This is something usually only seen in the WRC.
