LeMay – America’s Car Museum will host the 2025 DirtFish Women in Motorsport Summit on Saturday May 24.
The Summit’s popularity and growth has exceeded expectations and forced the move from DirtFish to a venue more equipped to deal with the ever-increasing visitor numbers. Situated just south of Snoqualmie in Tacoma, LeMay is one of the world’s finest car museums and the perfect location for May 24th.
“It’s an honor to be working with LeMay on next year’s Summit,” said DirtFish Women in Motorsport co-ordinator Josie Rimmer. “It’s truly humbling to see how quickly the event has grown from the inaugural event in 2022. Year-on-year we’ve extended the tents, made more use of the buildings and gone further out onto the property to park cars here at the Fish, but at some point we had to accept that we’d gotten too big to stay at home.
“Inevitably, it’s something of a bittersweet moment, but if you’ve got to move somewhere bigger, I couldn’t imagine anywhere better than America’s Car Museum. For car fans, LeMay is out of this world. It’s the most amazing place.
“To be taking the Summit to LeMay on Saturday May 24th is the perfect next step for us.”
The LeMay car collection is world-renowned, with Harold and Nancy LeMay amassing more than 3000 vehicles at its peak. Opened in June 2012, the museum is the perfect place to preserve the collection and for visitors from around the world to trace America’s automobile journey.
“From outside-in, LeMay is such a cool place,” added Rimmer. “And it sits next door to the Tacoma Dome, famous for housing scrutineering for America’s last round of the World Rally Championship – the Olympus Rally in the Eighties.
“Our preparations for next year’s Women in Motorsport Summit are well and truly underway. Stay tuned to DirtFish.com and all of our social channels as we roll out further details of what’s going to be a very exciting fourth edition.”
