Adrien Fourmaux will get his first competitive taste of the Hyundai i20 N Rally1 next week when he takes on France’s Rallye National Hivernal du Dévoluy.

Hyundai announced yesterday (Thursday) that Fourmaux was joining the team for the full 2025 World Rally Championship alongside co-driver Alexandre Coria.

He will immediately join his new team after this weekend’s Monza Rally Show where he waves goodbye to M-Sport, and will drive the i20 one week later on the 10-stage, 86-mile event in the French Alps.

Rallye National Hivernal du Dévoluy has become a traditional warm-up for the Monte Carlo Rally as it uses roads that form some of the stages for the WRC season opener.

As a result Fourmaux is not the only Rally1 driver to have entered, with Toyota bringing two-time world champion Kalle Rovanperä along as he gears up for a full season again in 2025.

Grégoire Munster’s co-driver, Louis Louka, will also compete alongside Munster’s brother, Charles, in a Hyundai i20 N Rally2.

WRC2 regular Nikolay Gryazin has won each of the past three editions of the rally but hasn’t entered in 2024.
