Beginning in 1984, the Oregon Trail Rally has had the honor of being the only 3-day rally on the U.S. calendar each year. The rally begins at Portland International Raceway in the heart of Portland on a Friday night. This brings stage rally to an urban city and provides an easier way for fans to watch the action. The Oregon Trail Rally features the historic Maryhill Loops Road hill climb. This hill climb is the only significant amount of tarmac competitors will race on all season. The gravel stages of the rally are long, fast, and feature challenging exposures. This rally provides some of the most picturesque views in the world, such as Mt. Hood standing tall behind the famous Boyd jump where cars fly over 120ft.
