Just when it looked as if Sébastien Ogier was starting to take some form of control over this year’s World Rally Championship title fight, the rallying gods intervened and a crash he was powerless to prevent allowed Elfyn Evans to sneak ahead.
In the words of David Evans, that’s left Ogier as “a wounded tiger”, and we all know how dangerous the Gap superstar is when he’s up against it.
