This week marks 30 years since Colin McRae’s iconic World Rally Championship coronation at Britain’s RAC Rally in 1995.
As the rallying world moves to celebrate and commemorate that special weekend, we’re pretending we are actually in 1995 with a series of two podcasts previewing, and reviewing, the Network Q RAC.
Today is therefore T-1, with tomorrow (November 19) marking the start of this tense season finale. Subaru team-mates McRae and Carlos Sainz are tied at the top of the championship, with Toyota’s disqualification and exclusion from the following season still fresh on our minds.
