The second entry list of the 2026 World Rally Championship has been published, excluding Sébastien Ogier for the first time since July.
As expected, the reigning world champion is skipping the trip to Sweden, meaning Elfyn Evans, Oliver Solberg and Takamoto Katsuta will score points for Toyota at round two.
Hyundai has Esapekka Lappi in alongside Thierry Neuville and Adrien Fourmaux, with M-Sport fielding three cars for full-timers Josh McErlean and Jon Armstrong as well as Mãrtiņš Sesks – whose 2026 program was confirmed earlier on Friday.
Also in the Rally1 field is TGR WRT2’s Sami Pajari as well as Lorenzo Bertelli, who’ll also drive a GR Yaris Rally1.
A host of Nordic drivers will vie for WRC2 honors; the entry headed by Roope Korhonen who’ll drive a Printsport Toyota GR Yaris Rally2.

His rivals include former M-Sport and Hyundai driver Teemu Suninen, who has a GR Yaris Rally2 at his disposal with Janni Hussi on the notes.
Mikko Heikkilä, Lauri Joona and Isak Reiersen all bring Škodas to the party with Finnish teenager Tuukka Kauppinen back in a Toyota.
Last year’s Junior WRC rivals Mille Johansson and Taylor Gill will re-engage in battle; Johansson starting his first prize drive event with M-Sport as team-mate to Romet Jürgenson, while Gill pilots a Yaris.
In total, 28 drivers will compete for WRC2 points – but neither of the works Lancias of Yohan Rossel and Nikolay Gryazin will be in action.
Sweden is also the opening round of Junior WRC, where seven drivers have entered.
Title contender last year, Ali Türkkan, tops the list ahead of Irishman Craig Rahill, 2025 Junior ERC champion Calle Carlberg, Kerem Kazaz, Leevi Lassila, Raúl Hernández and Spanish Gravel champion Gil Membrado.
