The World Rally Championship makes its first visit to Japan for more than a decade this week. After a couple of false starts in recent years, the crews are heading back to the Far East for the first time since 2010.
Now an asphalt rally based in Nagoya, west of Tokyo, the six previous editions of Rally Japan were held on gravel, on the northern island of Hokkaido.
On the latest edition of SPIN, The Rally Pod, DirtFish’s Colin Clark and George Donaldson are excited about Japan’s return to the WRC schedule as they look back on their previous visits to the country.
