UPDATE ON KATSUTA'S ISSUE

Takamoto Katsuta has given an update on the issues he faced this evening.

"I don't exactly what was the problem but definitely something went wrong at the start and I couldn't start properly, I was struggling to move forward.

"I don't know exactly what happened but at least I didn't have any handbrake and I could not use it.

"It was very tough, more than 50 hairpins without handbrake... just, I don't know, not a very good start."

END OF DAY UPDATE FROM SS2

ABITEBOUL GIVES HIS THOUGHTS ON NEUVILLE'S DRAMA

"As for Thierry I think it's OK. Maybe I was a bit worried after the first stage but the second stage was much more encouraging except for the off, that moment that he had he was not the only one to have a moment in that corner in the first split.

"But apart from that first split I think in particular the first two splits were very encouraging as well as the fourth one so I think overall we see we can be in the game, apart obviously from Ogier who is another planet.

"Time will tell, it's a long game so keeping our head down."

EXTENT OF SOLBERG'S DAMAGE

DAMAGE FOR SOLBERG

Oliver Solberg has made it to the end of SS2, but not completely unscathed. He's got damage to his left rear wheel.

That's cost him over two minutes. Not the ideal start to the rally for him
