Driving flat out on asphalt is cool. Gravel’s even better – it’s our bread and butter at DirtFish. But ice? That’s a whole other experience. Imagine deftly flicking a Subaru WRX between turns as you slide seamlessly from apex to apex.
Imagine no more. Ice Driving USA is back on the frozen Eagle Lake in Wisconsin next February. We’ll teach you how to master the art of ice driving, gaining essential techniques while having tons of fun and making unforgettable memories. Whether you’re a novice or professional driver, we tailor the coaching to your skill level. The best bit? It’s properly fast thanks to the cars being fitted with studded tires.
We’ll start by breaking down the basics: ABS braking exercises, weight transfers on a slalom course, drifting and Scandinavian flicks. After that it’s onto full-course driving!
Rally champion Patrik Sandell takes all his years of experience from his young days practicing on frozen lakes in Sweden all the way up to the World Rally Championship to teach you how to master driving on ice – over either one or two days. The latter provides double the seat time, so it’s definitely recommended.
Places are limited and some of our February dates are already sold out entirely – so book now before they all disappear!
