There are a lot of pieces of equipment that are essential in stage rally that most people don’t think about. The intercom system is one of those. The coms are the direct line of communication between the driver and co-driver inside the rally car. If you have ever been inside a rally car that is going flat-out on gravel, then you know how loud it can be. Between gravel battering the underside of the car, and the engine and gearbox making nice noises (most of the time), it’s near impossible to have a conversation, even if the driver and co-driver are screaming at each other. We install an intercom system in every car that we have here at DirtFish. This allows our instructors to flawlessly communicate driving techniques to their student.
