And now, we’re delighted to reveal Rebecca Williams as the voice of the DirtFish Women in Motorsport Summit.
Joining DirtFish as moderator of the Saturday May 24 annual event, Becs will compere the Summit at LeMay – America’s Car Museum. As well as interviewing a stellar list of guests across three separate panels, she will host an extended conversation with Formula 1 legend Claire Williams.
After working as host presenter of the World Rally Championship’s radio station, Becs is now lead commentator across Rally TV’s All Live World and European Rally Championship coverage. She has become a household name (and voice).
Having attended last year’s DirtFish Women in Motorsport Summit as a panelist, Becs is thrilled to be asked to take on a bigger role in this year’s expanded event.
“When Josie [Rimmer, DirtFish Women in Motorsport coordinator] called me to ask if I’d be interested in moderating this year’s Summit, I was so excited,” smiled Becs. “It didn’t take me long to answer!
“When I went to DirtFish for the Women in Motorsport Summit [in 2024], I really didn’t know what to expect. But from the moment I arrived, I was blown away by these incredible, trailblazing women Josie had brought together. To hear so many different stories from so many different facets of the sport – and then to go into the Summit and actually share those stories with such a passionate and amazing crowd was something I will never forget.
“This year there’s the same diversity in roles, but this time I get to ask the questions. I get to talk to people like Claire [Williams], Lia [Block], Pernilla [Solberg] any of those extraordinary women there on the day. I’m a communicator, I take people’s stories, I unlock them and then share them with others, it’s my reason for being. I’ll be in my absolute element on Saturday May 24. I can’t wait!”

DirtFish Women in Motorsport coordinator Josie Rimmer said: “It’s Becs Williams! Her voice is synonymous with rallying right around the world. She’s a genuine legend of our sport and to have her moderating the panel interviews and our fireside chat with Claire [Williams] is something I’m so, so proud of.
“Every year since we started the DirtFish Women in Motorsport Summit, we’ve looked to extend ourselves further, to raise the bar higher, to empower more women, to broadcast the message louder and longer. Having Becs with us is an integral part of that process of improvement in the same way that moving the Summit outside of the Rally School and heading down the road to LeMay – America’s Car Museum is.
