Thierry is safely through, but admitted he did struggle to find a rhythm with his title rival off the road.
“Obviously I couldn’t find the feeling at the beginning of the stage, I knew Elfyn was off,” he said. “We have to be clever in this position now and take the points we can from this difficult weekend.”
