The 2024 American Rally Association National calendar has been revealed, with Overmountain Rally Tennessee replacing New England Forest Rally on next year’s schedule.
With the NEFR organizer electing not to run in the National calendar for 2024, that means the ARA National series will travel to Tennessee for the first time, with the debut of the Overmountain Rally – formerly Bristol Forests Rally – taking place in September.
It will therefore run as the seventh round of eight, after traditional visits to the Sno*Drift Rally, 100 Acre Wood Rally, Olympus Rally, Oregon Trail Rally, Southern Ohio Forests Rally, Ojibwe Forests Rally and finally Lake Superior Performance Rally in October.
ARA competition director Preston Osborn said: “Our eight National events offer some of the most diverse challenges of any national championship in the world.
“There is a lot of anticipation for the Overmountain Tennessee event. The area is steeped in motorsport tradition and will offer the most technical roads in our series.
“I am confident the 2024 National championship season will showcase the best of rally in the US and appreciate the effort our organizers put forth to provide high-level events to our competitors.”
