American Rally Association driver Neil Thomas Carlinschauer has passed away following an accident on the Nemandji Forest Rally.
Competing alongside co-driver Tim Kohlmann, the pair crashed midway through the second stage of the event which counted for the ARA Central Regional series.
Kohlmann was transported to hospital but with non life-threatening injuries.
Nemadji was just Neil’s third ever rally behind the wheel of his Ford Mustang SVO. He had previously competed in the Regional events of both Ojibwe Forests and Lake Superior Performamce rallies.
