The American Rally Association presented by DirtFish is excited to announce the addition of a live stream element to the final national of the season, the Lake Superior Performance Rally, which will be held this weekend in Marquette, Michigan.
With the tightest National championships in recent American rally history, success at LSPR is critical for competitors across several categories to bring home a 2022 National title. The overall ARA championship is still up for grabs, with the difference between Ken Block and Brandon Semenuk likely to be decided after LSPR’s powerstage on Saturday.
With the points race coming down to the wire, the ARA, along with Subaru Motorsports USA, AT&T and DirtFish, will be producing a condensed live stream from LSPR. The coverage will include portions of the powerstage (SS14) as well as coverage from the final two stages surrounding Mount Marquette.
Coverage for LSPR will start at 4pm EDT on Saturday, October 15th. The live show will include a recap of the 2022 National championship, driver interviews, onboard footage and coverage of LSPR stages from both Friday and Saturday. The show will end with coverage of the National and Regional LSPR podium celebrations.
“Bringing a live stream element to our national series has been an ARA goal for the beginning, and to see it come to fruition is exciting for the future of American rally,” said Jeremy Meyer, ARA director of business and marketing director.
“LSPR will be a great test to the capabilities of new technology brought forth by AT&T and its partners, as well as an opportunity for our series to develop a platform that will properly expand coverage starting in 2023.”
The live stream will be simulcast on several channels, including the American Rally Association website and YouTube pages. To register for event notifications, you can subscribe to the ARA YouTube page, or follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.
