Conner Martell will switch from a Subaru WRX STI to a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 for what’s expected to be the remainder of the American Rally Association National season.
Martell has stepped up to a full ARA campaign in 2025 and has finished second to reigning champion Brandon Semenuk on the first four events in an Open class Subaru.
But the 28-year-old has decided to team up with 2C Compétition to drive an RC2 Škoda, starting from next week’s Southern Ohio Forest Rally (June 12-14).
“This is the kind of opportunity every driver hopes for,” said Martell. “Getting time in a Rally2 car has been a goal of mine, and to do it with a team like 2C – with all their experience and success – is an incredible step.

“I’m excited to keep learning, improving, and pushing at the front of the field.”
2C has strong pedigree in the ARA, running the late Ken Block in a Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC in 2022.
A team spokesperson said: “We’re excited to be back. We really enjoyed our time here previously, and with Conner onboard, we’re looking forward to showing what makes the ARA so special.”
