Stellantis Motorsport will launch an all-new Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup North America exclusively for the Peugeot 208 Rally4, starting from 2026.
In partnership with Team FJ, the winner will be offered a program the following year in a Stellantis Group car.
While there is no set calendar, with competitors able to score results on any one of 14 North American events, their best four results across CRC or ARA events will count towards the championship before a semi-final (in the USA) and final (Canada) where points will be doubled.
Competitors will also be split into ‘junior’ and ‘expert’ categories.
Didier Clément, head of customer racing, Stellantis Motorsport, said: “Launching a Brand Cup in rallying on the North American continent is both a unique and very exciting challenge.
“Our Peugeot 208 Rally4, with over 10,000 starts since its launch, has already proven itself in rallies around the world, and its first appearances in American and Canadian events have each resulted in a two-wheel drive category win.
“We are therefore confident that the teams who join this Cup will have a great time and a chance to showcase their speed.”
The technical and sporting regulations will be published “in the summer”.
