At a loss about what to do while you’re at home amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic? Codemasters might have the perfect solution – the Flat Out Pack for Dirt Rally 2.0.

Available from Tuesday, the Flat Out Pack is the perfect virtual world tribute to the late, great Colin McRae.

The downloadable pack, which is free for all Deluxe Edition players or Season Pack owners, introduces two new cars and new stages to the game.

Added to the class-leading rally game’s already impressive roster of cars are the Subaru Impreza S4 Rally from 1998, and the Subaru Legacy also driven by McRae – the very car that is also now a part of the DirtFish collection.

In terms of stages, Scottish roads made famous by McRae in Perth and Kinross have also been added, roads that Codemasters say are the most challenging to date on the game.

There are also 40 scenarios from McRae’s illustrious career spanning the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s to tackle in those new cars, too. The scenarios range from winning stages with heavy damage, to driving ‘flat out’ to keep above a specified average speed.

As well as the new locations and scenarios, you can also take McRae’s Impreza and Legacy for a spin around our very own location in Snoqualmie, Washington.

See, staying at home isn’t all bad.
