DirtFish launches rally onboards channel

New YouTube channel will showcase the the world of rallying from inside the cockpit

It’s the best view. The only view. The driver’s eye, the co-driver’s voice. Welcome onboard. Welcome to DirtFish’s all-new Onboards channel.

The intention here is, well, to do what it says on the tin… to deliver more onboards from more cars and more crews from around the world. It’s not just about the World Rally Championship, this channel’s about everybody and for everybody. If you’ve got a full stage you want to share, upload it here.

As regular DirtFish consumers will know, we’re not just about the contemporary. For us, yesterday holds as much fever as today and tomorrow. Which is why you’ll find Martin Rowe and Derek Ringer guiding us through the Glenville stage of the 1998 Manx International – on their way to a rally win and the British title.

Listen in as Rowe winds the Renault Mégane Maxi up off the start outside the famous grandstand in Douglas, before threading one of the finest examples of Formula Two down the island’s impossibly narrow lanes.

Toyota’s world champions Sébastien Ogier, Kalle Rovanperä and current world championship leader Elfyn Evans bring us bang up to date with stunning onboards from their pre-event test for this week’s Rally of Portugal.

You’re going to find a fabulously eclectic mix in here in the coming months – and you’ll also have the chance to learn something as well. DirtFish is a rally school, first and foremost. It’s the rally school. To that end, we’ll give our chief instructor Nate Tennis the keys and he’ll shine a light on some of rallying’s dark arts.

For now, enjoy the channel and welcome onboard.
