M-Sport’s ground-breaking, multi-million-pound evaluation center and test track development is coming close to completion. Malcolm Wilson invited DirtFish up to Cumbria to take a look around one of the world’s most impressive motorsport facilities.
The aim of the development is for a manufacturer to come in with a concept and leave with a car. Every aspect of design, development, build and test can be completed under the roof of the 10,732 square meter evaluation centre. And every aspect of the car’s dynamic appeal can be looked at immediately on the complete with a shakedown test around the 1.5-mile track.
Wilson is understandably proud of his achievement in creating an English version of Ferrari’s famous Maranello facility.
