Sean Johnston may have had the “jitters” before the start, but it didn’t show.
The American, and his co-driver Alex Kihurani, continued their road to the World Rally Championship with a return to the European Rally Championship on Rally Liepaja to bank more experience behind the wheel of their Citroën C3 R5.
Luckily for you, videographer Des Foley was there to capture all the thrills and spills from a solid weekend’s rallying that yielded a top 10 finish and a top-five stage time.
But it wasn’t always plain sailing. Ride onboard as Johnston screams at himself early on for his conservative driving and Kihurani tries to calm him down, reminding him they’re there to learn for September’s Rally Estonia, which kick-starts the WRC’s return to action.
