Kalle Rovanperä thinks he has the best job in the world. He’s probably right. Second best job in the world? It’s right here at DirtFish. And it’s waiting for you.

We want you to write about Kalle. And his mates, obviously. We have an opening for a writer/editorial assistant here at the world’s best website. Fancy it?

Have a look here for the details.

We want somebody who knows a good few of the 175,000 words in the English language, can make use of the subjunctive and understands the true meaning of a herringbone in our sport.

If your first thought in the morning is of a Group 4 Escort or Christian Loriaux’s ground-breaking Subaru Impreza P2000, that’s a great start. If your motivation to get about the day ahead is writing about the hood straps on Timo Mäkinen’s Mini or the next set of World Rally Championship regulations, we need to talk. Urgently.

The job is based in the UK and involves producing content across the board – we need you to write everything from a sparkling social gem to an engaging and insightful 2,000-word feature. Beyond that, there the potential for scripting, filming, editing, podcasting and, of course, a lifetime of rallying.

We’re asking a lot of you, but DirtFish.com has so much to offer. Join us!

(You’ve got one week to apply – you’ll be OTL by 9.00am Wednesday August 23, Dyfi time.)
