The liveries for all three factory Rally1 cars will be revealed next Saturday evening at the official launch of the 2022 World Rally Championship in Austria.

All three factory WRC teams will arrive in Salzburg fresh from their final preparations ahead of the Monte Carlo Rally, ready to pull the covers off the first ever Rally1 cars. And one of the most anticipated seasons in the series’ history will be opened in the presence of newly elected FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem.

WRC Promoter managing director Jona Siebel talked excitedly about the series new era, with hybrid cars, 100% sustainable fuel and some great action expected in the year ahead.

“It’s fitting these ground-breaking changes should be incorporated for the WRC’s 50th season,” said Siebel.

“The new Rally1 cars look fantastic. After so much preparation and hard work across the sport, we’re just days away from the start of the new era – it’s hard to contain the excitement!

“I can’t wait to see the cars together in Salzburg to mark the start of what will be a thrilling year.”

The event will be streamed live on WRC’s official channels from 1800 CET on January 15.
