Was it domination? With 16 stage wins from 18, it’s hard to think of another word for it. Toyota (and Sébastien Ogier) were the absolute class of the field on the Monte Carlo Rally.

So what about the others? Are Toyota simply too good to be beaten, or did Hyundai drop the ball?

Thierry Neuville believed the setup direction that the team began the rally with wasn’t correct, while Colin Clark also wondered if, in hindsight, it got its driver selection wrong given how much Dani Sordo struggled.
