Greensmith and Patterson to team up again

They will compete together on Quattro River Rally Karlovac

Gus Greensmith

Gus Greensmith will rely on a familiar voice this weekend as he reunites with old co-driver Chris Patterson.

Greensmith and Patterson first teamed up for Rally Croatia in 2021 after Greensmith elected to part ways with Elliott Edmondson.

But when Patterson retired after the penultimate round in Spain that year, Jonas Andersson was brought into the co-driver’s seat and has remained there ever since.

Patterson has continued to form part of Greensmith’s team though, and will make a one-off step back into the car for Quattro River Rally Karlovac as a warm-up for Croatia.

Greensmith is seeded number one in his Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, one spot ahead of fellow Toksport WRC2 driver Nikolay Gryazin.

Junior WRC drivers Tom Rensonnet and Eamonn Kelly will also compete in their Ford Fiesta Rally3s.

The rally begins on Friday March 31 and ends on Sunday April 2 with 12 stages in the Zagreb region which also plays host to the World Rally Championship event on April 20-23.
