Hyundai reveals special Safari livery

Hyundai has revealed a special livery for this week’s Safari Rally Kenya – the team’s second one-off design of 2026.

The i20 N Rally1’s standard livery was overhauled for this season, with black joining the base blue and traditional red/orange accents.

But for its first outing, Hyundai added a French comic twist to the car – with a jagged speech bubble on the hood and the words ‘Branng!” and ‘Brap-Brap!’ replacing ‘Nürburgring’ and ‘Namyang’ on each side of the car.

For Safari Rally Kenya, Hyundai has again added a playful touch to its base livery with the words ‘Oh Look’ on one side, and ‘Over There’ on the other – joined by a zebra, hippo, giraffe and an elephant, leaning into the wildlife often seen on the African event.
