Video: Solberg and Isola show 037 successor at Monte

Watch and listen as the roaring Lancia evolution threatens to outshine Loeb and co at 2022’s Monte Carlo Rally

It would have taken a lot to upstage what was going on at the front of the latest Monte Carlo Rally and the astonishing tale of Sébastien Loeb.

So it says something that the demo run for the Kimera EVO37, to mark Pirelli’s 150th year, threatened to do just that. Pirelli’s head of motorsport Mario Isola was behind the wheel, with none other than 2003 World Rally Champion Petter Solberg switched to the unusual viewpoint of the co-driver’s seat.

And you have a front-row seat too in our DirtFish video. You will see and hear the beautiful growling Lancia successor, from in and out of the car, proceeding on the Monte shakedown stage, and you also hear what Isola and Solberg made of it all before and after their run. As Isola notes: “it doesn’t happen every day…”
