Why did Sweden go wrong for Toyota?

It didn't win for the first time since 2018, and didn't even feature on the podium either

For just the second time since it re-entered the World Rally Championship seven seasons ago, Toyota was beaten to victory on Rally Sweden.

But worse still, it didn’t even feature on the podium with its lead two drivers Kalle Rovanperä and Elfyn Evans coming home fourth and fifth.

It dominated the Monte Carlo Rally, winning 16 of 18 stages and finishing first and second thanks to Sébastien Ogier and Rovanperä, so what went wrong on round two?

And indeed, should any of the problems in Sweden be of concern ahead of the rest of the season?
