Next year’s World Rally Championship will be the longest in almost two decades with 14 events making up the 2025 schedule.

Starting with the traditional Monte Carlo opener in January, the first three events are familiar from this season with Sweden and Safari following the French Alps classic. Round four delivers the first of three new events, with a WRC debut in the Canaries. Paraguay and Saudi Arabia follow with the Middle Eastern event closing out the first 14-round calendar since 2008.

Estonia steps back to the WRC switching with Latvia, with the Liepāja-based event returning to the European Rally Championship.

WRC Promoter managing director Jona Siebel said: “This is a hugely exciting calendar which perfectly blends our traditional rallies with three exciting new challenges, two of which are outside of Europe, highlighting once again the global appeal of our championship.

Monte Carlo will kick off the season for the 14th consecutive season

“From the ice in the French Alps, knee-deep snow in Sweden, blinding dust in Kenya and Sardinia, high-speed gravel rollercoasters in Finland and Estonia and finally deserts in Saudi Arabia – the variety we are offering in 2025 is unrivalled.”

FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem added: “It is fantastic to see such a full calendar of events for the 2025 WRC season. Alongside classic locations fans know and love, the introduction of new rallies in Spain, Paraguay, and Saudi Arabia adds even more excitement and reflects the global diversity of competitors and rally fans alike.”
