The 2026 European Rallycross Championship calendar has been unveiled, with Ireland appearing on the schedule for the first time this century.
Euro RX is the premier rallycross series next year, rebranded from World RX, as top tier regulations return to purely internal combustion power too.
The FIA has revealed a brand-new calendar to match, with six rounds from May to September starting in Latvia and ending in Portugal.
Latvia’s Biķernieki circuit returns to an international rallycross calendar for the first time since 2022, three weeks before the returning second round in Hungary at Nyirád.
Sweden’s iconic Höljes circuit hosts round three in July before Euro RX heads to Ireland and Mondello Park two weeks later – the first time the series has done so since the 1990s.
The season concludes with visits to Lohéac (France) at the end of August, and Lousada (Portugal) – which shifts from its opening round status in 2025 to the finale in 2026 – in September.
FIA road sport director, Emilia, Abel said: “The 2026 FIA European Rallycross calendar marks a major step forward, bringing the sport back to the most iconic circuits in rallycross history. These legendary venues are all instantly recognizable to fans across the globe, and I am confident both spectators and drivers will be thrilled to see Europe’s finest rallycross talent compete on the tracks that have defined the sport.
“From the start, our vision for rallycross has been shaped by listening to teams, drivers, organizers, and most importantly – the fans. The 2026 calendar reflects this approach, combining iconic circuits with exciting new additions in regions where rallycross has a strong national following. This calendar presents fresh challenges while celebrating rallycross history.
“With an incredible calendar in place, free-to-access coverage and a world-class broadcast package, I am certain the 2026 season will deliver an unforgettable chapter of rallycross action for fans all over the world.”
