The race format, timetable and broadcasting arrangements for July’s ‘All-Star’ Magic Weekend at Höljes have been announced by the event’s co-organizers Olsbergs MSE and Finnskoga Motor Klub.
Announced last week, the four-day event will follow the standard RallyX Nordic race format: free practice, four qualifying heats, semi-final and final, across all four championship classes.
Joining RallyX Nordic on that July 2-5 weekend will be the Swedish Rallycross Championship’s SuperCar, SuperCar Lites and Crosscar classes.
The ‘All-Star’ element of the event begins with a qualifying shootout, which will determine the grid for Q1, with the race following the standard format thereafter.
The action kicks off on Thursday July 2 with the opening rounds for both RallyX Nordic and Swedish SuperCar Lites, as well as the ‘All-Star’ shootout.
In the event of more than 20 cars being entered for the weekend, a third semi-final will be held instead of the standard two.
The event will be held behind closed doors, with Friday a dedicated media-only day to provide viewers with exclusive behind-the-scenes content, studio interviews and fan interaction throughout the day.
Round two of RallyX Nordic and Swedish SuperCar Lites will then be held over Saturday and Sunday, with the SuperCar season-opener commencing on Saturday as well.
Event organizers have opened the entry for the Magic Weekend to “all Supercars with the FIA Gold Book, legal American Rallycross cars and legal national Supercars, Supercar Lites, CrossCars and CrossKarts”.
Broadcasting company NEP will provide on-location coverage of the event over the course of the weekend, offering a pay-per-view TV subscription model to help raise funds for the Finnskoga MK.
