Tanner Foust will compete in the inaugural full season of Nitro Rallycross, lining up for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing in an EKS JC-supported Audi EKS Quattro.
Foust, a Volkswagen factory driver, has been a mainstay in the US rallycross landscape for over a decade, competing in every single top-level event contested in America and winning a record 24 rounds and four titles across Rally America rallycross, Global Rallycross, and Americas Rallycross.
“It’s very exciting to join Dreyer & Reinbold Racing this year for the introduction of the new Nitro RX campaign,” said Foust, who will jump straight into testing his new car later this week.
“The car has been very successful in the European and Nordic Rallycross tours. I look forward to working with their experienced team in the quest for the inaugural Nitro Rallycross Supercar championship.”

In joining Dreyer & Reinbold, Foust will reunite with Cabot Bigham, who he partnered with at Andretti during the 2019 ARX season (pictured above).
The pair scored a 1-2 finish at Trois-Rivières to give Foust his first of two wins en route to the title that year, and Bigham his first Supercar podium.
Team boss Dennis Reinbold is “thrilled” to welcome a driver “of Tanner’s abilities” to DRR.
“Tanner has been successful in every vehicle in which he has competed for several decades,” Reinbold said. “We are anxious for him to team with young Cabot Bigham in our two-car Audi EKS Quattro Supercar effort.
“The excitement of the new Nitro RX series is growing as we work towards the season opener in Utah on September 24-25.”
As well as being the most successful driver in US rallycross history, Foust has also enjoyed strong results in Europe, becoming the first American to win events in both European and World Rallycross.
He was also recently announced as the male driver for McLaren’s upcoming Extreme E foray.
