Rally Italy’s shift from June to October brought a fascinating new dynamic for photographers. The first stages on Friday and Saturday started just after sunrise and the low autumnal light was a manna from heaven. Throw in some Mediterranean vistas and the usual ‘Jumping in the Dust’ maxim, then this rally is definitely one of the most photogenic on the calendar.
