America’s Rally Finland – The challenge of Ojibwe

The Ojibwe Forests Rally is up next in ARA, and offers one of the most unique challenges of the season

Known to teams as an extremely demanding and challenging rally, there is no margin for error on the Ojibwe Forests Rally.

That’s where the American Rally Association presented by DirtFish National series is headed this week, for round six of the 2021 season.

“It’s such a tough rally because you’ve got to be so aggressive, you’ve really got to keep the momentum going with lots of huge jumps,” is Travis Pastrana’s description of the challenge.

“The stages are really fun, really fun. You can really trust the car more than you can on any of the other stages in the US,” is Barry McKenna’s take.

“The surface is much looser and sanider so you can lean on it more, and then on the second pass you’ve got the big rut to dig into, it’s always fun relying solely on a rut to take you around a corner.”

Find out exactly what makes Ojibwe so challenging and why they call it America’s Rally Finland in this video, narrated by Colin Clark.
