Season 8 of Subaru’s Launch Control web series is nearing its end, but it’s leaving us with something rather special.
To conclude the latest run of its long-running in-house documentary series, Subaru is peeling back the curtain on one of its most spectacular activities of 2020.
With Nitro Rallycross in its planning phase and the ARA series hampered by the coronavirus pandemic, the Vermont SportsCar-led Subaru Motorsports USA had a little time on its hands last year. So it, along with Travis Pastrana, took the brand back to Ken Block’s Gymkhana series for its 11th installment – the first without Block front and center.
In a two-part special dubbed ‘Road to Gymkhana’, Subaru lifts the lid on the one-of-a-kind WRX STI, showcasing its build and testing phases, before offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse at filming for the latest Gymkhana video.
