DirtFish is going bigger in Ireland

Plans to establish a DirtFish hub for domestic rally coverage start in Ireland

DirtFish is delighted to partner with Onthepacenote to bring further coverage of the remaining rounds of this year’s Irish Tarmac Rally Championship.

The DirtFish YouTube channel will feature Onthepacenote’s review show from Donegal, Ulster and Cork 20 rallies as well as enhanced web and social coverage of a thrilling battle for the 2024 title.

DirtFish head of content Alasdair Lindsay said: “The world over, Ireland is recognized as an absolute hotbed for our sport and we’re delighted to be working with Killian [Duffy, Onthepacenote] to deliver more coverage of this year’s Irish Tarmac Rally Championship.

“The first four rounds have delivered three different winners, with Callum Devine completing a sensational Killarney hat-trick last time out. The run-in to the end of the season will be absolutely fascinating as the battle continues to rage across classic stages through Donegal, Ulster and down in Cork.”

Enhanced coverage of domestic series around the world is part of a wider strategy for DirtFish.

Lindsay added: “This is something we’ve been considering for a while now. We’ve had a number of [national] championships from around the world enquiring about partnering with DirtFish to host coverage – understandable given our two million-strong social following and the 200 million digital impressions we made last year. We’d like to see DirtFish become the hub for coverage of national series around the world.

“And what better place to start this journey than in Ireland. Killian’s enthusiasm for the sport perfectly matches the passion we have here at DirtFish.”

Duffy added: “I am delighted to start this collaboration with DirtFish. I think this will be one of the greatest promotional opportunities for Irish rallying in a long, long time. DirtFish is the most recognized brand when it comes to rally promotion and content. It’s an absolute dream to have our Irish Tarmac Championship shows added to DirtFish’s YouTube channel of more than 300,000 subscribers.

“I look forward to starting our journey together from Donegal International Rally.”

Enhanced coverage kicks off with the review show from Donegal late next month.
