Video: How Pirelli assesses its return to WRC so far

It's been a busy start to company's latest era as exclusive tire supplier to the WRC. But how does it rate its performance?

Preparing for an entry into the World Rally Championship coming off the back of the COVID-hit 2020 season would have been a tough ask for anyone, but especially so for returning exclusive tire supplier, Pirelli.

With so much relying on the performance and selection of tires in the modern-day WRC, there has been little rest for the brand. But given there was such a short gap between the Monza Rally at the backend of 2020 and the start of the new season on the Monte Carlo in January, Pirelli has enjoyed a largely successful return to the top flight.

DirtFish caught up with Pirelli’s motorsport boss, Terenzio Testoni, to find out how the company itself rates its performance so far this year.
