A faultless drive and a fabulous return to form for the fast lad from Finland.
Rovanperä left Estonia just two weeks ago a broken man and few thought then that his turnaround would be so rapid and so impressive.
It takes a whole lot of mental strength to drive a car in a way that you know isn’t the fastest but that’s exactly what Rovanperä had to do and he pulled it off spectacularly.
It’s hard to overstate the degree of pressure that this young man was under coming into this event.
