In addition to lighting up London’s Piccadilly Circus, Hyundai Motorsport is celebrating winning the 2020 World Rally Championship manufacturers’ title by creating an online advent calendar filled with gifts that are a grade above finding a slice of chocolate in a cardboard window.
The #HMSGOfficial Giveaway will run on the WRC team’s official Instagram page (@hmsgofficial) and will run in the 12 days leading up to Christmas Day, starting today!
Each advent calendar window is open for two days, and the treats inside include signed items worn by Hyundai’s WRC drivers. What was once keeping Thierry Neuville, Ott Tänak, Dani Sordo, Sébastien Loeb and Craig Breen fireproof at 100mph on gravel is now available for you to win.
To access these items, you need to use the #HMSGOfficial hashtag on Instagram and tag fellow users, with the winner selected at random among those who do.
The giveaway starts on Sunday, December 13 with Neuville’s race overalls from 2019, a season in which he won the Tour de Corse, Rally Argentina and Rally Spain as well as Ypres Rally Masters, Rallylegend and Crêtes Rally. Then on December 23 his 2020 overalls, which he won the Monte Carlo Rally in, are there to be won.
On December 14 and 17 signed copies of the latest official WRC video game on Playstation and Xbox are up for grabs, gloves from Tänak, Sordo, Loeb, Breen and Neuville are available on December 15, 19, 20 and 23, fireproof t-shirts from Tänak and Neuville come up to be won on December 16 and 21, Loeb, Neuville and Tänak donate helmets on December 18, 22 and 24, and Tänak’s 2020 overalls also appear for one lucky winner on December 20.
