The flat fields of Flanders don’t just challenge the WRC’s best drivers, they pose a tricky task for the photographers.
It all tends to look the same, unless you think outside the box and stay away from the square junctions, proliferating the farmland.
The town of Ypres itself is full of color and atmosphere, whilst the rally’s powerstage featured a blast up the Kemmelberg hill on the famous cobblestones offers McKlein plenty to get stuck into.
Cranking down the camera shutter speeds adds to the drama and portrays just how fast and committed the world’s best rally drivers are on asphalt.
