Sebastien Ogier’s Toyota has been approved to continue by the FIA following the damage incurred in a road accident ahead of Sunday morning’s opening stage.
The seven-time World Rally Champion’s Yaris WRC collided with a BMW 1 Series on a dual carriageway before SS17, suffering an impact on the co-driver’s side.
Ogier and co-driver Julien Ingrassia have worked on the door before and after the Sunday morning stages.
The car was checked by the FIA’s technical department in the refuel after SS18. A report was made the FIA to the Croatia Rally stewards that the car was fit to continue in the event.
Ogier is running second overall, 2.8 seconds behind team-mate Elfyn Evans with two stages of the Zagreb-based event remaining.
