The rallying world is in mourning after the loss of Craig Breen. We all have many special memories of a truly wonderful human being – even those of us who were not lucky enough to meet him in person.
A passion ignited by his dad Ray’s MG Metro 6R4 shaking the walls of his bedroom, Craig’s sheer joy of driving rally cars flat out never diminished. It didn’t matter if it was the latest Hyundai i20 N Rally1 or the Ford Sierra RS Cosworth of his hero Frank Meagher.
Craig was literally living his dream. That dream had some nightmares within it, but Craig never lost his passion for rallying. Nor his love for those around him, his quick wit, his desire to help the next generation, or his humility.
Craig was a very special person who will never be forgotten. In a heartfelt edition of SPIN, The Rally Pod, David Evans, Colin Clark and George Donaldson join Lisa O’Sullivan to celebrate his life.
