Video: Neuville gives WRC journalists a thrill ride

DirtFish's Colin Clark and David Evans ride shotgun with Thierry Neuville

Taxi rides are usually a fairly uneventful experience. You pay a few dollars and get taken from point A to point with, hopefully, minimal fuss.

But what if your taxi driver has won 13 rounds of the World Rally Championship and is taking you from point A back to point A? And instead of driving a Ford Crown Victoria, he’s taking you for a spin in a Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC.
There was nothing uneventful about DirtFish’s Colin Clark and David Evans’ experience in Italy at the beginning of August as they hopped into the passenger’s seat of Thierry Neuville’s Hyundai, the day after he had just beaten team-mate Ott Tänak on Rally di Alba.
You’ll have already read about that experience here on DirtFish, but now it’s time to see it and appreciate it in all its glory.
Sit back, try not to grimace, and enjoy as Neuville rips his i20 through the Italian countryside at speeds which, realistically, shouldn’t be possible.
