Heat. If there’s one word that could well dominate this week’s round of the World Rally Championship in Sardinia, it’s heat.

All the talk after Rally Portugal was about the rising cockpit temperature inside the Rally1 cars this year – a problem that was only ever likely to be worse on Rally Italy; even more so this year given the temperatures are expected to be nudging 40 degrees celsius!

What can the teams do to counteract this issue? Join David Evans, George Donaldson, Luke Barry and host Lisa O’Sullivan as they discuss how big a problem the heat may still be, and why some teams may now find themselves at a big competitive advantage.

There’s also discussion about Kalle Rovanperä’s victory chances, whether Craig Breen has been good enough so far in 2022 and a look at the state of play in the American Rally Association presented by DirtFish National championship.
