Video: Why Sno*Drift Rally is an underdog’s dream

The ARA National season opener – the only snow rally of the season – tests Open class drivers like no other rally

The countdown has started. A new season of American Rally Association action is almost upon us, and as ever, it all begins with the daunting Sno*Drift Rally in Michigan state.

As Colin Clark explains, there’s one vital rule which handicaps the top-level Open class cars and gives the slower, heavier cars a chance to cause an upset.

Keep an eye on DirtFish this week as we bring you exclusive ARA content looking ahead to this year’s season-opener, kicking off with a look at all the factors that make Sno*Drift Rally so special.
