Video: Our verdict on day one of the 2021 WRC season

Colin Clark and David Evans give their take on a tricky opening loop of the 2021 World Rally Championship season

Day one of the 2021 World Rally Championship season is in the books, and what a start it’s been.

The first two stages of the Monte Carlo Rally were eventful to say the least, with M-Sport’s Teemu Suninen the first major casualty of the event after crashing out spectacularly. Ott Tänak leads the way from Toyota’s hard charger Kalle Rovanperä, but one thing is for sure – there are likely more twists and turns in this rally than there are in the windy roads of the Alpes-Maritimes region.

DirtFish’s Colin Clark and David Evans, although not in Monte Carlo this weekend, are again right on the money with their insightful and passionate analysis of the opening day’s action.

Hear what they, and the WRC’s top drivers, have to say about Thursday’s tricky pair of stages and what to expect as the weekend progresses.
